Funding Roadshow series launched by Action Planning
Summer 2005 sees the launch of Action Planning’s Funding Roadshow, organised in partnership with ACEVO, which will be held in 5 cities across England. Delegates will be addressed on key developments and issues concerning statutory funding in a regional context. Other highlights for Action Planning occurring in the first half of 2005 include the organisation of an event for the Home Office to launch Compact Plus and the ChangeUp consultation. This was followed by a successful series of four workshops on strategic planning and how to manage the fundraising function, presented by David Saint for the Association of Chief Executive of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO). Each workshop was attended by 20 Chief Executives from a diverse cross-section of not-for-profit organisations. David’s section on “The five questions you should ask your fundraiser!” was particularly valued by the workshop attendees.
