The latest edition of Dimensions, an analysis of the UK's top 500 fundraising charities, available online for the first time
Published by CAF (Charities Aid Foundation), the study covers the income and expenditure of the largest charities over the turn of the millennium. The results show impressive real-term increases in virtually all areas of charity income, creating a high baseline against which giving in the new century will be measured.

A new report from the not-for-profit sector think-tank nfpSynergy highlights growing importance of branding for charities and not for profit organisations

Survey of international NGO education and training programmes
Roseanne M. Mirabella, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, Arts and Sciences Hall, Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey 07079, USA is conducting a survey to determine the current universe of nongovernmental organization education and training programs available throughout the world. All types of NGO education and training programs are included in this study. It is being conducted as a companion to research on US-based programs that has been carried out by Seton Hall University since 1995. The results of this research will be compiled and summarized on the web and assembled for publication. Participate by completing the questionnaires that best define your work.

CharitySoftware Limited releases version 3 of donor2000
Donor2000, the fundraising and administration package, has been in use since 1994. The new version includes "hundreds of features" including Gift Aid administration and "greater ease of use." A free demo CD is available for download from the CharitySoftware's Web site. It is restricted to a maximum of 50 donors and will only be valid for a few months. For the full version of version 3 prices start from £1,450 with monthly payment options available.
