Giving in Europe Website launched by King Baudouin Foundation
The King Baudouin Foundation has announced the launch of the www.givingineurope.org website. This interactive on-line cross-border giving databank provides information for donors, intermediaries and beneficiaries on the legal and fiscal aspects involved in a cross-border philanthropic transaction, taking into account the country of residence of donor and beneficiary and the country where the assets are located. It covers the 15 European Union countries before enlargement as well as Switzerland. The website was realised with the collaboration of the CNUE (Conférence du Notariat de l’Union Européenne), of the EFC (European Foundation Centre) and of national fiscal and legal specialists. The information will be regularly updated and will be extended to the ten new European Union countries.
