Merger of Brakeley and Briscoe in the US - Brakeley Briscoe Inc
Brakeley Briscoe Inc is the new trading name of the Brakeley company in the USA. George Brakeley III will be Chairman of the new company, with Marianne Briscoe as President and Alden Briscoe as Executive Vice President. With offices in Stamford and San Mateo California, the Brakeley presence across the US will be greatly strengthened, especially on the West Coast. The board of Brakeley, John Price Jones Inc, the parent company of the group has been expanded, not only to include the Briscoes, but also by the addition of Marita Haibach and John Belcher.

Martin Beck leaves BSU to start own consultancy
Board member Martin Beck has started his own consultancy business. Martin will remain a member of EUConsult and continue his work on the board. Martin will shortly be making a trip to Cameroon as head of a church delegation, so we will not see him in London for the Winter Conference, but we wish him well with the new business.
Maecenata Management Expansion Results in Office Move
With the addition of two new positions, a controller and a trainee in office communications, Maecenata Management are set to move to larger offices in Munich's Schwabing district. To accommodate the move, the Maecenata office will be closed on 20-24 February, before they open their doors at Herzogstr. 60, D-80803 on 25 February.

Members to Participate in First EUConsult Training Course
EUConsult members are set to benefit from the first ever training course organised by the Association. The Consultancy Process Training Course will take place in London on 14 and 15 January. Led by training expert Calvert Markham, it will be an intensive two days concentrating on the key tasks in conducting consulting projects, proven techniques for working effectively with clients and will also cover what the participants need to know to develop their performance once they are back at work. The Association plans to offer further training courses and members will be kept informed of future plans.
