Culture 2000: call for projects - focus on cultural heritage
(Source: EUCLID ALERT 9)
The call (for 2004) was published on 19 August 2003 (in Official Journal C195). Deadlines will be 30 October 2003 (one-year projects) and 14 November 2003 (multi-annual projects). Applications for cultural heritage, performing and visual arts, and for translation projects will be accepted. However, all applications must:
- have something uniquely European about them
- be developed and implemented by at least 3 partner organisations from 3 different European countries
- last either for 1 year or, in a few cases, for 2-3 years
- have a total budget of between € 100-300,000 (for 1 year projects) or € 500,000 per year (for 2-3 year projects).
Successful applicants can receive a maximum of 50% (for 1 year projects) or 60% (for 2-3 year projects) of the total budget (expenditure on restoring premises or buying new equipment should not be included).
Euclid's Culture 2000 web site provides updated versions of the Euclid Culture 2000 guidance notes that are designed to assist in preparing applications. New on the site is a set of three information leaflets with contact details of key organisations in the UK, the EU Member States and the Accession Countries.
