- EFC launches new magazine about and for European foundations
EFFECT is the European Fundraising Centre's flagship publication about and for European foundations. The magazine, published three times per year was launched in spring 2007. The inaugural issue includes a feature on “Europe’s foundations and global philanthropy” and also has a spotlight on the Spanish foundation sector.
- FULL HOUSE: Turning Data into Audiences
The Australia Council for the Arts with the assistance of five State Ministries around Australia commissioned Roger Tomlinson and Tim Roberts to revise and update the book "Boxing Clever: Getting the most out of the Box Office". The ticketing bible was written by Roger Tomlinson and commissioned by the Arts Council of England in 1993. It was described as: "A manual on how to develop the box office beyond ticketing and use box office data for marketing".
The new manual “FULL HOUSE: Turning Data into Audiences” addresses a number of issues including: CRM, privacy and spam legislation, permission marketing, online marketing and online ticketing. The manual develops a more strategic relationship with customers and, rather than just treating the box office as an inconvenient external service, FULL HOUSE puts the customer first and box office centre.
