Description:

This local service provider had a shortfall as a result of delivering higher quality services than those for which the local authority was prepared to pay.  No in house fundraiser, and a Chief Executive with other priorities, it fell to us to help them to find the funds required.  We are working with a newly formed Fundraising Committee, and researching and approaching charitable trusts.  We also support the individual fundraising endeavours of parents and other family members of service users.

A rather different project; a charity with too much money for normal fundraising!  The new Chief Executive had no previous voluntary sector experience so the Chair felt that my guidance would be helpful.  I have mentored her and the Chair; we have recruited and trained a fundraiser; we have prepared their annual report; we have run several awaydays for the board and fundraising committee. 

A tiny charity with a limited budget, wanting to celebrate its 10^th birthday with this meeting being arranged in July 2009 in Paris.
