Letter from the chairman

Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to introduce the September issue of our Information Service. Thank you for continuing to support the service with your contributions and thus helping to bridge the gap between Members’ meetings.
The next opportunity for Members to meet and catch up will be our EUConsult Consultants’ Reception, which will take place on 18 October. This has become a regular annual event, timed to take place during the International Fundraising Congress in Noordwijkerhout. Thank you to Daryl Upsall and Ramses Man for again hosting this gathering of Members and other consultants attending the IFC. Denise has already sent out invitations to Members and Extra Member Contacts, so I hope you will take this opportunity to meet, if you are due to attend the Congress.
After the IFC Reception, the next EUConsult event will be the Winter Conference on 25-26 January 2007. After many years of holding the Conference in London, a majority of Members have voted for the 2007 event to move to Berlin. We have already received some good suggestions for conference sessions by Members, so please do contact either myself or Denise if you would like to make any suggestions for sessions, speakers or venues.
