New internet database for the German cultural sector
In autumn 2006 there will be a new internet resource available for the German cultural sector. The DIZK (Deutsches Informationszentrum Kulturförderung) will provide up to date information online on funding opportunities for the arts being offered by foundations, companies and other organisations throughout Germany. The website is aimed at anyone in the cultural sector seeking funding, potential donors, cultural institutions, service providers and the press. DIZK is an initiative led by the Cultural Foundation of the German State’s (Kulturstiftung der Länder), the Association of German Foundations (Bundesverbandes Deutscher Stiftungen) and German industry (Kulturkreises der deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI).
