Dear Friends and Colleagues
I am delighted to introduce the April issue of the EUConsult Information Service.
As ever at this time of the year, our Summer Conference team has been working hard to put together an excellent programme for Geneva. We will include topics such as strategic management through peer review and developments in governance in the European third sector. There will be a panel discussion on how to get through the economic crisis and how consultants can best advise their clients in these challenging times. We will also be offering an optional tour on the Friday afternoon to the United Nations Palais de Nations. The invitations will be sent out at the end of April. In the meantime, please make sure you keep the dates free: 19-21 June 2009.
Looking back at our Winter Conference in Brussels, this was one of our most successful conferences ever, with total participation reaching 50 for the first time! Thank you again to everyone who contributed to a great conference.
Since our last Board Meeting, which took place in Brussels in January, the EUConsult Board has commissioned EUConsult Member YTES to carry out a study on possible EU funding opportunities for the Association. We will report on the results at the Annual General Meeting, which will take place in Geneva on Saturday, 20 June.
Thank you to all Members who contributed to the Information Service this time round. I hope that you find this issue interesting and informative.
