  • Organisation: Charities Institute Ireland (Cii) is the representative body for Ireland’s leading and high-impact fundraising charities. Our 322 members employ c. 25,000 people and represent 40% of the overall public funding provision within the charity and voluntary sector. Cii promotes greater transparency and impact in the not-for-profit sector through best practice in governance, fundraising, and financial standards. 
Dr Kerry McCall Magan
  • Title: Country Director Ireland & EU Region Research Champion (Arts & Education), British Council, Ireland
  • Organisation: The British Council promotes collaboration in arts, education and the English language. It enables Irish and UK organisations and individuals to share their insight, expertise and knowledge in arts, culture and education, which results in bespoke programmes and partnerships to mutually benefit Ireland and the UK.

  • Title: CEO of Philanthropy Ireland and Board Member of Philea – Philanthropy Europe Association.
  • Organisation: Philanthropy Ireland is a dynamic membership organisation dedicated to advancing philanthropy in Ireland. Its aim is to cultivate a thriving community of philanthropic entities, fostering collaboration and innovation to address the most pressing societal challenges.
Liz Roche
  • Title: Head of Foundation & Sustainable Business, Vodafone Ireland, Board member Friends of The Elderly and Boardmatch Ireland.
  • Organisation: Vodafone is connecting for good by combining its technology and charitable giving to address some of Ireland’s most pressing community needs. The Vodafone Foundation was established in Ireland in 2003 and runs a wide range of community programmes for the business. These include charity partnerships with ALONE, Dublin City University’s Anti-Bullying Centre, and Women’s Aid. Vodafone is one of the 27 countries where Vodafone Foundations operates globally, dedicated to supporting groups across all segments of society who are working to make a real difference in the community.

  • Organisation: ShoutOut is a registered charity committed to improving life for LGBTQ+ people through educational programmes and powerful storytelling. ShoutOut promotes inclusion through delivering LGBTQ+ Educational Programmes in schools, workplaces and service providers.

  • About Tony Ward: Tony is an independent consultant who has significant experiencece in finance, governance, strategy, business development and fundraising in the charity and nonprofit sector. 
Oonagh O’Donovan
  • Title: Director of Strategy & Operations, OKC and Board member of Dublin Fringe Festival
  • Organisation: OKC is a values-led, impact-driven consultancy specialising in fundraising, philanthropy and social impact partnerships. Founded in 2022, OKC works across the not-for-profit, corporate and philanthropic sectors, supporting charities to grow and diversify their income; guiding businesses to develop purpose-led partnerships; and enabling individuals and foundations to make transformational, impact-driven investments. 
Julie Jones
  • Title: Head of Strategic Growth, Community Foundation for Ireland
  • About Julie Jones: Julie Jones is an experienced development and communications professional with a proven track record in developing and rolling out successful development growth strategies across the entire fundraising mix.  Her areas of expertise include successfully driving diversified income streams into organisations and fostering partnerships and engagement with a wide range of corporate and philanthropic partners. Prior to her role at the Community Foundation, Julie was Head of Fundraising at ECO-UNESCO and previously Development and Marketing Manager at Children’s Books Ireland. She has over 25 years experience working in the NFP and commercial arenas. The Community Foundation is committed to addressing climate change through philanthropic investment.
