THE ROLE OF THE EUROPEAN NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY IN ADVANCING THE UNITED NATIONS’ SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
In 2019 EUConsult will hold its Autumn Congress for civil society consultants in Edinburgh, UK. The wide range of discussions will focus on the theme: The Role of the European Non-profit Community in Advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Our exciting programme also includes an overview of the non-profit sector in Scotland and a group visit to the Scottish Parliament, hosted by Angus MacDonald, MSP. In the evening we will enjoy a taste of Scotland with drinks and dinner at the Pibroch restaurant. Optional pre and post congress programmes will also be offered.
The Autumn Congress will provide EUConsult and EUConsult Italia members, and other third sector consultants with many excellent learning and networking opportunities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Participants will take away many new ideas for enhancing their consultancy activities.

CONGRESS VENUE AND PROGRAMME
The EUConsult Autumn Congress will take place in Edinburgh on 27-28 September 2019 at Teviot Row House, the oldest purpose built Student Union building in the world (opened in 1889).
For participants arriving on Thursday, 26 September there will be an optional walking tour: How the Scottish Enlightenment Helped Shape Philanthropy in Europe and North America, followed by drinks and dinner. The formal congress programme will start at 15.00 on Friday, 27 September and finish at 16.30 on Saturday, 28 September. An informal tour and dinner will be arranged by the Management Development Network (MDN – UK consultants working with civil society) on the Saturday evening for anyone staying on until the Sunday. This will include a walking tour with Dr Gareth Morgan and dinner at Browns, which is on George Street, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Hotel accommodation is not included in the congress fee in order to give maximum flexibility to participants. It is recommended that you book your hotel in Edinburgh as soon as possible.
